 Trainee Structural CAD Technician (Galway or Birr Office)

 

Oran Pre-Cast Ltd are offering an exciting opportunity to pursue a career as a Structural CAD Technician within an industry leading company. We are committed to bringing out the best in our employees and will provide you with continuous in-house training from our experienced Design Team. During training you will be assigned a full-time mentor to assist you in all aspects of a busy design office including: further CAD software training, drawing management procedures, reinforcement detailing and the latest construction techniques.

 

Once trained as a Structural CAD Technician, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects in both Ireland and the UK. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed drawings, schedules and specifications for a variety of Pre-Cast products.

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

 

  • Experience in CAD software.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Have an interest in developing a career within the Pre-Cast industry.
  • Good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.

 

This role is best suited to somebody who has completed a CAD training course and wants to establish a career in the construction industry.

Tekla Specialist (Galway or Birr Office) 

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tekla Specialist to join our team. If you have proven experience within an engineering office and strong 3D modelling skills using Tekla structures, this is a superb opportunity to develop your career. As a Tekla Specialist, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of challenging projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed Models & General arrangement drawings, you will also be responsible for producing Precast production drawings from the models for various products including stairs, flooring, hollow-core, double wall, columns and beams.

 

To be considered for this role, you must have: Strong Tekla experience. A relevant third level qualification. A good level of English.
