Trainee Structural CAD Technician
Job Location: Oranmore, Co. Galway or Birr, Co. Offaly
Oran Pre-Cast Ltd are offering an exciting opportunity to pursue a career as a Structural CAD Technician within an industry leading company. We are committed to bringing out the best in our employees and will provide you with continuous in-house training from our experienced Design Team. During training you will be assigned a full-time mentor to assist you in all aspects of a busy design office including: CAD software training, drawing management procedures, reinforcement detailing and the latest construction techniques.
Once trained as a Structural CAD Technician, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects in both Ireland and the UK. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed drawings, schedules and specifications for a variety of Pre-Cast products.
To be considered for this role you must:
Be computer literate.
CAD software experience preferable, however full training will be provided.
Have an interest in developing a career within the Pre-Cast industry.
Have good communication skills both oral and written.
Be able to work as part of a team.
This role is best suited to somebody who wants to establish a career in the construction industry.
