Our portfolio includes some significant recent projects such as the New Engineering Building NUIG, the Critical Care Unit at the MWR Hospital, a multi storey car park at the Galway Clinic, the New Students Centre at the London School of Economics and the Osiers Gate, Wandsworth development.
Timeline
1981 | The first precast products are manufactured in the Oranmore plant.
They consist of mainly columns and beams for industrial portal frame structures. Towards the end of the 80’s, this expands to include flooring for commercial applications. |
1990 | Hollowcore plant commissioned. |
1998 | New office building opened to cater for our expanding design and project administration team. |
2000 | Frame production unit commissioned. |
2000 | Specialised Stairs & Landings unit commissioned. |
2004 | Automated twinwall and lattice floor plant commissioned. |
2008 | Completed our first Total Precast Solution, the Shearwater Plaza Hotel. |
2008 | Completed our largest project to date, the Citypoint building for €4.5m. |
2009 | Signed our first overseas contract, valued at £1.1m for Laing O’Rourke. |
2009 | Opening of the M6 motorway. Oran Pre-Cast now just 2 hours from Dublin Port. |
2010 | Oran Pre-Cast completes the 1st precast flat slab project in Ireland, Tierney Building, UL. |
2010 | Completed our largest UK project to date – The Doubletree by Hilton, Tower of London for £1.7m. |
2012 | Worked closely with BAM contractors to win a major national school building contract. |
2014 | Commenced work on the latest phase of the Goodman’s Fields, London development. Upon completion, circa £3m worth of product will have been supplied to the project. |
